About

Welcome to my life of bringing colour and happiness into homes and lives. Allow me to introduce myself and share a little on the background of my artist journey and painting career.

My name is Noelene Peters, and I was born in Kingaroy, Queensland and grew up on a peanut farm just north of Kingaroy in an area named Corndale.

At an early age I was given the opportunity to learn to paint with a very talented artist, David Bryce, or as we called him, ‘Paster’. I am very grateful to my parents for this opportunity as this was the start for me of a beautiful and rewarding life. David and I travelled around the countryside with his pet white cockatoo, an easel and our oil paints, painting the beautiful landscapes surrounding us. He was full of encouragement and believed in me, entering my art in local competitions and art shows. I was so blessed to have these opportunities and experiences as this paved my path to a wonderful life of exploring other mediums and styles of art over the years.  I have continued to paint on and off throughout my life, mostly with acrylic.

Living in the stunning garden city of Toowoomba now for past 20 years, I am married to my soul mate and team partner Russell, and we are surrounded by the most wonderful family. I have always loved nature and colour, and this is reflected through my art pieces.

Mostly I paint professional canvas, encompassed with a timber frame and sealing the completed piece with professional product to ensure my art has everlasting life. Russ is chief framer and loves to create useful items in timber. His favourite being the folding picnic wine tables. These have proven to be very popular and can be used anywhere for any age. In the backyard, in the caravan or at the beach! They also make a wonderful gift for couples. I have now started adding a touch of my art on some of the tables for those that appreciate both art and functionality.

My wish for you is that my art will bring the joy and happiness to your home as much as it does for me when painting it!

Love and blessings,

Noelene
